“ This bar is a famous New York institution on MacDougal Street in the Village. They've got two floors, a few TVs, and a solid bar food menu. But let's get some obvious facts out of the way. Yes, it's a dive bar. Yes, there's usually a lot of drunk college kids here. Yes, it can get... sticky. But god dayum, it's still an amazing place to go. Just avoid this place on SantaCon and you'll have a good time! ”

“ This is a decent bar in the west village offering cheap beer especially if you go during happy hour (Mon-Fri before 7pm). Bartenders are friendly and their appetizers are good, especially the wings. I just wish they played music a little louder during the day. I was there on a Thursday afternoon and the vibe was really quiet, I could barely hear the ambiance music. The other bars part of the chain (Down the Hatch and 3 Sheets saloon) have a better vibe. ”
